IRIS active region burst papers
Bursts are short-lived, intense brightenings seen in the Si IV
emission lines observed by IRIS. Here I list papers that have presented
studies of IRIS bursts. Note that the authors often use different
terminology such as bombs or explosive events.
The
notation for the observation type is as follows:
observations can either be sit-and-stare (SNS) or rasters (Rast). For
the former, the exposure time in seconds is given in brackets. For the
latter, the notation "400,D,4s" indicates a 400-step, dense (D) raster,
with 4-second exposure times. Rasters can be either dense (D; 0.33"
step size) or sparse (S; 1" step size).
